Why Maps is critical for local businesses
When someone searches “salon Tirana”, “restaurant near me”, or “web agency Tirana”, Google shows the map and a list of businesses. Without a complete profile you lose calls and visits — even if you have a good website.
The steps to appear
Follow this order:
- Create or claim your Google Business Profile.
- Choose the correct primary category, plus secondary categories.
- Fill in the address, hours, phone, and website.
- Write a description with the services and the city.
- Upload real photos (the space, the team, the work).
- Ask for reviews from happy customers.
- Publish posts from time to time (offers, news).
The link to the website
The profile and the site should match: the same name, phone, and address (NAP). On the site, mention the city and the services, and place clear calls to action (phone, WhatsApp, form).
